The robe ofYquem 2006has a light amber colourwith apretty gold and green reflection. The textureappears as fatand oily. The nose of this great Sauternes expressesaromatic purity and concentrated jammy elementsat the same time. More precisely, this Yquem 2006 offers a candied structure: melon, quince, fresh mirabelle plum, citrus fruit, pineapple and mint. The swirling unveils botrytised and honeyed classic notes as a proof that this wine is abeautifully concentrated wine. On the mouth, the attack is sweet (128 grams of residual sugar) yetwithout suffering from weakness or flabbiness.
