The Babylonstoren Cabernet Sauvignon shines in an intense plum colour in the glass. The bouquet already shows the richness of the red wine: rich aromas of dark berries are underpinned by nuances of wild herbs and cedar. On the palate, notes of plums and blackcurrants are added. Noticeable yet fine tannins give the classic Babylonstoren Cabernet Sauvignon a lovely mouthfeel. The well-balanced red wine matured in oak for eighteen months and is a wonderful companion to a steak, lamb in a crust of rosemary and thyme or beef. A cheese platter is also a very good choice with the Babylonstoren Cabernet Sauvignon.
