Decade Down is a straight bourbon where we used a combination of our finest honey barrels between 5 and 7 years old. 25% of the bourbon used had been in sherry barrels for 12 months. Our first batch of Backbone Uncut (our first product) was released in December 2010 thus the reason for this special anniversary edition. We plan to do a new Decade Down release every year going forward.

Tasting Notes: Our blend begins on the palate with rich, caramel notes. Subtle spices and dry sweetness start to make way, following with a smooth oak finish while the sherry barrels add a pleasant mouth feel. Decade Down is best sipped neat with a drop or two of water.

Mash-bill = 74% Corn, 21% & 5% Malted Barley (all barrels)
Proof: 110 or 55% abv
