The Glenrothes distillery in Speyside is home to a 5.5-ton mash tun, twelve oak washbacks, eight stainless steel washbacks and five pairs of stills. Oh, and it also used to be home to a ghost. Dont worry, he wasnt one of those evil ghosts like in the movies, and he was courteously removed from the premises, so dont be afraid to visit the distillery if you ever get a chance. However, do keep it in mind when you see the graveyard thats right next to the distillery, which you can see on our Glenrothes label. Theres the ghost, too!

• Nose: Plum pudding, brown sugar, a touch of truffle oil.
• Palate: Peanut brittle, oloroso, spiced fruit compote.
• Finish: Vanilla pod and clean malt notes.
